The laboratory is accredited according to LST EN ISO/ IEC 17025 standard to carry out physical and chemical tests. Accreditation certificate No. LA.01.048.
The laboratory also is acting as a conformity assessment institution for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – protecting clothing and is notified body, identification No. 1401.

There about 100 physical and chemical tests for determination of qualitative, hygiene and environmental parameters of textile materials developed. They are carried out for Lithuanian textile enterprises and for customers from foreign companies.

The laboratory offers advise and consultations for choosing test methods for determination of required textiles characteristics.

Opinions and interpretations can be presented:

• on the statement of compliance/ noncompliance of the results with requirements;
• fulfillment of contractual requirements;
• recommendations on how to use the results.
